Our philosophy
At Palate, we believe that good meals are even better when shared and our meal is inspired by the way food is served in Mediterranean countries, where all dishes can be shared at the table.
Palate focuses on seasonal ingredients, from smaller producers, we are committed to delivering real, artisanal food that celebrates the best ingredients we have access to and match it with a perfectly matched wine selection.
We have a menu that is inspired by both Italy and France in a beautiful union with Scandinavia. We aim to shine when it comes to the environment, food and service. Palate wants to offer our guests an informal and discreetly luxurious experience where every mouthful is a journey through taste and texture.
Our Menu
We serve delicious main courses that are perfect for sharing. We like to start the meal with a few small dishes from our snack menu to tempt the taste buds and open up a feast of flavors and textures. On our open charcoal grill, we prepare a selection of grilled meat or fish with care and precision. Choose the side dishes that tempt you the most and customize your meal according to your own wishes and preferences. Food should be a pleasure to share, and we're here to make sure every bite is a taste experience worth sharing with others.
Our Place
Palate Restaurant is located right in the heart of Oslobukta in Bjørvika, where you'll find some of the best the capital has to offer in terms of culture, art and dining experiences, including the Opera, the Munch Museum and Deichman Bjørvika. With us, you can enjoy a meal inside our bright and beautiful premises or on our outdoor terrace, which on sunny days has sun from 13.00.
